A startup client coming out of a major local university is seeking advice on moving from an NSF SBIR grant to an operating company: "We are incorporated as an LLC and trying to re-incorporate as a Delaware C-Corp, but a few barriers are in the way. It's unclear if we are allowed to re-incorporate during our NSF SBIR Phase I Grant. Potential option is to make a parent Delaware C-Corp.
