Attorney Sami Azhari of Azhari LLC was recently published in Law360 for the third time. Sami was asked to analyze a case that is set to be heard before the United States Supreme Court on November 27. The issue is whether the "serious drug offense" definition in the Armed Career Criminal Act incorporates the federal drug schedules that were in effect at the time of the federal firearm offense or the federal drug schedules that were in effect at the time of the prior state drug offense.
