Insurance Litigation - Historic House, Minnesota

Client owns historic mansion in one of Minneapolis-St. Paul's wealthy neighborhoods. City pipe under street broke, damaging house. Client fixed the pipe and basement. Insurance agreed to pay (unclear if payments have come through) but then refused to renew policy while, simultaneously, leaving the pipe claim open, making finding a new insurer highly difficult. (Client has gone to two insurance companies, who refused to provide her a new policy, because the old claim is still registered as "open.") Insurer also not paid claim from client, where she was rear-ended and had to go to the hospital.
