A family friend (neighbor growing up in SJ) owns a condo in San Jose. He recently had bad water damage to his condo ceiling, floor, etc., costing about $30,000, from a leak in the unit above his. HOA is telling him that HOA isn't responsible and he has to pay for it himself. He asked if I could refer an HOA attorney in San Jose/SFBA who can help him.
