Potential client (lender) made a business loan. The borrower didn't pay and client foreclosed on a property securing the loan. Borrower sued and won the lawsuit. Client now in the midst of negotiations but also looking at appealing the loss. Client wants to review his situation with someone who is familiar with Dodd Frank & TILA, but also preferably someone who has litigation experience. Although only one loan is the subject of litigation, client is concerned because he has many other loans with similar potential issues.
